#direnayol / #resistayol (2016) is a documentary by Rüzgâr Buşki, produced by Kanka Productions, which follows trans activist Şevval Kılıç during the 21st Istanbul LGBTI Pride in the shadow of the Gezi Park protests. I worked as part of the Kanka Productions team, creating the title sequence and additional animations that help frame the narrative and visual tone of the film. The soundtrack was composed by Gizem Oruç and is available via Kanka Productions’ Bandcamp and SoundCloud pages. Rüzgar Buşki+1

The film premiered at the 15th !f Istanbul Independent Film Festival, and it has been screened internationally at festivals and events including Documenta14 (Athens edition) under the title Rain Check: #direnayol (#resistayol). Basis Frankfurt+2Documenta 14+2 It has also been shown at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) in London as part of the Queer Resistances program. ICA
