IDEMIA - Behind the Curtain
September 2017, La Saine Musicale,  Paris - France

I worked as Lead Art Director and Motion Designer with Superbien Paris on the launch of IDEMIA, a new global identity formed through the merger of OT and Morpho. The event took place at La Seine Musicale in front of nearly 2,000 guests, and was also streamed live to seven countries. My role included concept design, motion visuals, and the full render and simulation setup for a complex staging environment, featuring projection mapping and a transparent hologram curtain that divided the stage into two viewing perspectives.

The show unfolded in several acts. CEO Didier Lamouche opened with a keynote, surrounded by evolving projection-mapped environments and animated graphics that framed his address. A short film followed, presenting IDEMIA’s latest biometric innovations — from automated passenger boarding systems to new-generation payment cards — which guests could later explore in a dedicated showroom. The third act delivered a dramatic reveal: the hologram curtain lifted to expose 1,500 employees seated behind the stage, joining the 300 press, clients, and partners in the hall. Finally, the company’s new identity was unveiled with a virtual 3D logo assembling in mid-air, a striking finale that captured the spirit of innovation.

This ambitious production earned wide recognition, winning the Grand Prix des Stratégies de Communication (2018), the Bea Festival 2018, and the TOP COM Corporate Business 2018 award.
