Theatre of Light Immersive Exhibition
2022, Dublin - Ireland
I worked as Technical Content Director for the Theatre of Light immersive exhibition in Dublin, Ireland, in collaboration with NOH Lab, Catapult, and Creative Technology Ireland. The exhibition was held at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS), one of Dublin’s largest and most iconic cultural venues, within a custom-built 30 × 30 meter immersive projection environment.
The exhibition featured three main audiovisual works — Van Gogh: An Immersive Journey, Everything, and Journey — each exploring the emotional and sensory potential of large-scale digital art. Designed as a temporary yet high-end venue, the space surrounded visitors with 360° projections, spatial sound, and responsive lighting, creating a fluid and continuously evolving environment.
In addition to the main program, I also created visual content and spatial simulations for a series of immersive yoga sessions that took place outside regular exhibition hours, transforming the installation into a meditative and atmospheric experience.

Technical Summary >>
As Technical Content Director, my primary focus was to ensure the creative and technical precision of the entire experience. I developed a comprehensive toolkit for Adobe After Effects, integrating a real-time 3D simulation module that allowed artists, directors, and the client to preview the immersive content with full spatial accuracy during production. This system became the backbone of our workflow, enabling consistent alignment across multiple teams and ensuring that every visual matched the actual projection geometry of the venue.
To complement this, I built a crowd simulation system that recreated spectator perspectives within the 3D environment, allowing us to determine the optimal audience capacity per session and ensure unobstructed sightlines and comfort throughout the experience.
The immersive room at the RDS was equipped with high-lumen projectors covering all four walls and floor, providing a total projection area of approximately 3,600 square meters. With multi-channel surround audio, synchronized playback servers, and precise projection mapping completed in under four days, the system achieved both creative flexibility and technical rigor. The combination of these tools and workflows allowed over one hour of content to be delivered seamlessly, blending artistry and precision in an ambitious large-scale installation.
